You gentlemen must be very popular with your friends, trashing their cars when you get the opportunity etc. :-) I for one think Lexus is a great car brand. Everything that lights a fire under the arrogant combined teutonic asses of MB and BMW is fine with me, and I am half German. But the "Arr Karz arr perfekt" arrogance plus the fact it's the status-conscious default choice in CA makes me think highly of brands that compete with them on equal terms. Saab has different core values, I think, but the Japanese engineer their cars just as well or better than the Germans, and actually I think they do a better job at adjusting them for US roads, only US consumers are too brand-conscious to notice most German cars ride quite harshly on flawed CA roads. The Autobahn this ain't over here. That said, so does my Saab convertible courtesy of SE and sport packages - at some point in time I'll probbaly fit in more compliant shocks. ...pablo
