I'm starting to think the real reason for buying Macs (and feeling strongly about it) is that people want to be *different*. Apparently the same applies to some of the Saab owners. I hate that kind of motivation. But I'm starting to doubt myself now. I just bought a 9-3 yesterday and I have an Airport base station with a little apple logo on top hidden away in a closet. I guess you could call me a closet alternative. Thankfully I know I don't use Linux as a lifestyle item but just as a tool... X.
