It don't know if the brand is known in the US, but at the Valmet factory (the one you mean, which is actually a tractor manufacturer, just like Lamborghini!), those cars where built on the same production line (and at the same time!) as the Mercedes SL, the Porsche Boxster and the Lada Samara Baltic.
