This is the 5-door hatch - first introduced as the 99 combi-coupe in 1975 it was discontinued in the states in '80, but available everywhere else until '93. The 5-door hatch format is a common car config in many parts of Europe, although personally I prefer the 900 as a 3-door or a 2-door sedan. Opera windows weren't unique to the 900, the British Austin Maxi had them in 1969, (also a 5-door) and I think the Renault 16 might have..
