love the turmoil all my saabs are or have been YS3 numbers GM wasn't in the picture when mine were produced finland did produce saabs under tight controls from the swedes by the time the GM vintage cars come of age i'll have collected enough vintage swedish built cars to drive them the rest of my life. in my opinion it won't take long for the GM quality to ruin a good thing. i have never know any GM product to get 372k miles on an engine by the way i sold that one (85-900S) to a kid who drove her away with 372k and i saw her the other day and the same kid was still behind the wheel 3 years later.... i have owned chevrolets and oldsmobiles both were high maintenance items. engine problems and transmission problems were thier downfall. i've even owned a mecedes but it was to stuffy and rode like a buckboard well so much for a substantiated opinion i'm sold on the real saab made by swedes
