I must have missed the bit about the 9-3 and 9-5 being built by someone else? > Farewell Saab :( There were probably people saying the same thing when Saab started putting Ford of Germany V4 engines in the 95, 96, and 97, back in 1967. When the freewheel went away from the 99's in the early 70's, I'm sure it caused an uproar. The 9000 caused a hell of a stir within the Saab in-crowd. The NG-900 was marked as the death-knoll of Saab, but Saab survived it. Reports of Saab's death are greatly exaggerated. One does not add cars to a brand which one is trying to kill. Dave Hinz
