The glue will stick to the foam, which then proceeds to detatch from the fabric. In the US, the stores known as NAPA sell plastic screw-in headliner retainers, which work just fine. If you arrange them in a geometric pattern (or, what the hell, star constellations or something), they'll even look nice. Big 1" diameter head or so, course threads that hold into the shell nice, and not expensive. No muss, no fuss. If nothing else, it keeps the darn thing of your head until you can arrange to get it fixed properly. Dave Hinz
