My old (1993) saab doesn't have remote control, but why do you want it? There are disadvantages. Sometimes they don't work near transmitter masts for various communication services, such masts might not be very obvious. Secondly, I've been told that technical thieves can record the transmitted signal code and play it back to the car. Lastly, the remote could also run out of battery. Johannes
