Not sure about the injectors sooting up, but is t possible that one of the intercooler pipes has rubed through? The one that runs form the right hand side (as you look into the engine bay from the front) of the intercooler to the inlet manifold is prone for rubbing against the bottom of the battery as it moves under boost. Could be that this has rubbed through a bit, under normal driving it'll be 'sealed' but under hard accel. the boost pressure is opening up the hole? Just a thought.
