I have never had to replace a DI cassette, and some weeks ago I saw an old 9000 with the original DI cassette (the one with the connector at the end of a short cable) still in place. If I had the choice between an engine with a traditional ignition system with electronic ignition module, distributor, distributor cap, ignition coil, and spark plug wires or an engine with a DI cassette I would, without hesitation, choose the engine with DI cassette. -- G–ran Larsson http://www.nospam.com/saab/
