This is on a B204 engine - I didn't think it had the plastic oil feed pipe arrangement of the earlier engine - I will find out tomorrow. Presumably oil starvation would lead to severely knackered cam shaft bearing faces and I would already know about that by now. BTW it was (otherwise) well worth having the gasket replaced, although I only did it because it was losing water externally, it was well on its way to breaking through on cyl. 4! > -- > Grunff >
