My mechanic has attempted replacement of my 1999 9-5 front disc rotors and pads a couple of times now in an attempt to eliminate squeel and low speed vibration of the calipers. He's tried 3 different sets of pad/rotor combinations and we are currently using Saab parts. These are all new parts, not refurbished or turned rotors. I currently have a low pitched whine as I brake and then a scratchy vibration-sound from the front brakes as the car comes to a complete stop which seems like the calipers are vibrating. Is there some kind of anti-vibration pad behind the pads that may be missing in this installation? Thanks Pete
