Subject: rear wheel bolts seized!

hi, i just went to change my rear brake pads on my 89 9000T and i had to find that i couldnt get the wheel bolts out. ok i thought and got the air wrench out, didnt help just throwed sparks all over. and that was the big one. i ended up using the wheel thingie in the original saab equipment from the trunk and putting some bmw differential wrench extension over it what made this bar a total length of like 80cm . with some cracking the bolts went out and they were completely seized and rotten. so i can just give you this advice if youre from germany, never go to one of these ATU quick wheel change places. they do really suck. apparently they didnt put ANY grease on the bolts. the front was almost as bad, but the bolts went off easier. i called the tire changing place and told them about it and they just said that that is not possible, i even talked to the mechanic but he didnt admit anything. after they told me some bullshit about the grease drying out (lol yea sure) i just told them to f*** off and i guess they lost atleast one customer instantly and will definately lose alot more when i spread the message through my whole social network ;) it really seems that i find more and more reasons to do EVERYTHING on my car on my own. bye simon
