I had a foggy, grimy journey in my '85 900i which only had one of the headlamp wipers working. When I pulled into a service station to wash the headlamp (and fill up the washer reservoir which I had drained on the journey), I held my hand up in front of it and had to move my hand to within 6 inches of the headlamp to see any light. I thank the Lord for the one that worked. Needless to say, that got fixed the following week. I wash my rear light clusters almost daily in winter when the gritters are out. My Saab has already had one rear-end shunt and I don't want another. Paul 1989 900 Turbo S http://saab.go.dyndns.org/
