Of course - as any car with north of 100,000 miles should be a concern, and that complete service history is a good start. If allowed, a separate inspection by a knowledgeable Saab mechanic who has no vested interest in the car sale (this is very common in the US with private sale, don't know about the UK). There are specific things you should look for, of course, rust being one biggie, but other regular items that will start wearing. I think on a 16V I4 you may need to look into valve timing as well. Properly cared for, 300,000 miles is not uncommon an age for a Saab, but truth be told, most cars will last that long provided they are serviced properly and not abused by the owners.
