You never see rust on cars these days. It has improved since late 80'ties. Impressive; I was pleased with my '88, in this salt and rock-strike infested place. Come to think of it, that gash that I gouged into the side with my backhoe (I don't want to talk about it, thankyouverymuch) never did rust, despite being well through the paint (didn't penetrate the metal, but it creased it very well).
