Subject: CD Changer Troubles, what homemade tools do you use...

to pull out the head? I've been having a problem where the left channel has a lot of static, but only for the cd player. today i noticed that it affects the back too, so at times i can listen to all speakers, and at times only the front. But the problem is only when playing cds. I had the 'head not recognizing changer problem awhile back, and I think maybe the dealer didn't push in the connector from cd player to head on the head end well enough. I tried 8p nails and a bit of fidgeting, but what do you all use to pull out the head? I havn't seen a real one, but I'm thinking two pieces of metal rod bent back on themselves, though I'm not sure about size. I've got a NG. -Matt
