Hmm, wondering if this is the same problem on my '92 9000T? The head gasket was changed by and independant and ever since, when the engine is between 2000 and 2500/3000 RPM, there's what I can only describe as a grinding type noise when the engine is under load. It's not road speed related because i can hold the car on the handbrake and then let the clutch in and raise the engine rpm on the throttle, then the noise starts at 2000(ish) rpm My car is going in to a main dealer on Thursday for a few other points, will be interesting to see what comes from it. David.
