Here are a few URL's: http://www.chipcenter.cc/english/ http://nordictuning.com/saabtuning/9-5/ ("kit" contains more than chip) http://www.abbottracing.com http://www.genuinesaab.com/tuning/pu/PU440.htm My favorite is the last one: Taliaferro Saab - they use parts from speedparts.se. Email to infonopsaminesaab.com. That goes right to Nick Taliaferro, part owner. He's very helpful. Tell him "Bob" sent you. (Won't get you anything, but I owe him a favor :-) >Finally - I saw mention somewhere of a Saab-produced performance chip >available in the UK. Anyone know >what it would do to my warranty if I imported one from the UK? Last I heard, Saab was offering the chips from Hirsch Performance in the USA for the 9-5. I don't think they are selling the chips for the other models but that would not matter to you. I've heard that the chips are pricy. http://www.hirschperformance.com/95/95_20lpt.html (Turbo's come on strong, to be impressed, check out the details in http://www.hirschperformance.com/pdf/95_20lpt_modified.pdf and look at the 50-75 acceleration times. ) Warranty: If you buy the Hirsch chip from *Saab*, your warranty stays in effect. However, Saab tends to be somewhat liberal with warranty coverage when modifications are made and in fact they even seem to get excited about car modifications down at the local dealer :-). They will not cover parts that you've changed, of course, and they will decline to cover something like a burned out clutch if you put an extra 50HP through it with a non-factory kit - but they won't whine that the reason your strut broke was because you were driving too fast, or that the reason your turbo failed was a modified ECU, etc - unlike some other manufacturers (Not that any of these items fail, I'm just making a hypothetical point).
