According to Edmunds.com, if this car was a 2 door in average condition it would private party sell for $5,000, if it was a 4 door it would be $5,400 in a private party sell. The 4 door in "rough" condition would be worth $4,300 and in "Outstanding" condition it would be worth $7,300 in a private sale. Take it for a test drive and see how you like it. Then if you like it, take it to a good Saab shop for an informed, independent evaluation of the car. This car also has a cable clutch, if that makes a difference to you. I would not touch this car with a 10 foot pole only because I don't like the body style - but to each his own. Speaking of 10 foot poles/pipes, I had to pick up a dozen 10 foot metal conduit pipe for a project and they easily fit inside a Classic 900 hatchback. Some may call the Classic body style dated and ugly, but it is amazing what you can fit inside a Classic and close the hatch and windows!
