Thank you all for your inputs and suggestions. This was a tough one, since it seems to be "an industry practice" but an unfair practice to consumers. I did have my car inspected before my trip and actually spent about $1000 on the front end before I left. Oh, well, there was still this problem which was not picked up by my mechanic.
