I've done the Abbott ECU upgrades to my 01 9-3SE and totally love them. Although recently I had a blown set of exhaust valves on the #2 cylinder, it was all repaired under warranty. My dealer up in Thornhill (near Toronto) indicated that it had nothing to do with the ECU upgrade and has been known to happen even on stock models. I can vouch for the changes in performance and a great friend of mo=ine did it to his 9-5 LPT MY99. If you are complaining about the price, I can recommend negotiating with Abbott. They must surely feel the oinch of the competition as they have been in this arena (with Hirsch) for a long time almost unchallenged. That's just my thoughts.
