In article <bdephs$sbr70$6nopsam34476.news.dfncis.de>, davehinznopsamcop.net spouted forth into alt.autos.saab... > Saab didn't do aircooled either, so it was a rear-engine aircooled, that > was a 2-sroke? Hm. No clue. Hey Carl? Skoda ever sell one of those? > > Don't think so. When they went to rear engine Skoda were using an alloy block water cooled iron head 4 stroke. Can only think of Trabant who had 2 stroke air cooled rear engine, and as far as I'm aware, they never sold in the UK. Of all the rear engined cars I can think of, VW air cooled flat 4, 4 stroke. Tatra V(I think)6 and 8, 4 stroke air cooled. Skoda inline 4, water cooled 4 stroke. Hillman 4 cylinder, 4 stroke, water cooled. Probably more. -- Carl Robson (The poster formerly known as Skodapilot) http://www.bouncing-czechs.com
