Last time we went over spark plugs, and why they are critical, I posted a link to a very detailed document, which describes how it's used as a sensor to measure the impedance in the combustion chamber, to determine the right time to fire. > very capable of diagnosing problems which frustrate most folks to the dealer idiot > mechanics. Yes, but the problem is, you're suggesting the wrong spark plug, in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary. > so if you don't agree with my comments just don't post. if you find yourself > in need of experienced input i am willing to help. Hm. I'll let Grunff handle that that, I think. To blame a holed piston on the spark plugs that the engine was designed for is a bit silly, when you consider the many millions (billions?) of miles on that engine class, with the right spark plug. Why specifically do you blame the NGK that Saab reccomends (BP7ES, I belive, right?)? Dave Hinz
