Many thanks for that - the circuit board bit looks easy - just like an old Tandy computer (and about as reliable....) First trick is to grovel to my local dealership - (it's an import from Holland, so the guarantee isn't as long as in UK) Failing that, how do I get the damn thing out? Radio bit is easy, & as far as I know, is coded to the car, but after that? Scary!
