There are lots of tweaks you can do for the '97 without an ECU upgrade (lots cheaper). They are all DIY or advanced DIY. For the '01, I think the ECU upgrade is the way to go with a couple of tweaks - depending on your stock equipment. There's a lot of typing involved, so let me ask first: are you thinking of "upgrading" one of those cars, or both ? Bob
