Rebuilt mine about a month ago. Rebuild kit was 5 US dollars. The master
cylinder was much more, they didn't have it so the price was academic. I
would however recommend if you have an ABS model C900 that you flush ALL the
brake fluid out once the master cylinder on the clutch goes out. This
appeared to me to be most especially important for the ABS unit. I would
use the best part of a gallon of fluid to flush things out. I would also
recommend someone with small hands and long skinny arms to yank the master
cylinder out. The "piston" will be difficult to come out. Depress the
piston and let the spring tension snap itself out of the cylinder. Will
take quite a few tries. No more difficult than doing drum brake cylinders.
