No. And yes - when sitting in traffic jams with high outside temperatures, but that's understandable :) I think the over-heating was down to the throttle dashpot holding the throttle plate open too much, which is now sorted. It's just a bit lumpy now and poor mixture when warming up. I think Grunff and Carl have pointed me to the most obvious cause of these problems. Thanks, Paul
