So, if you're at, say, 30 PSI on a heavy car, vs. 30 PSI on a light car, the tire is still seeing 30 PSI no matter what. Also I'm not sure if one can make a blanket statement that Japanese cars are statistically lighter than any other type of cars - plenty of USA'n econoboxes that are probably lighter. Then again, those drivers probably aren't buying Pirelli tires... I drive on Nokian tires year-round, snows in the winter & NRZ's in the summer. Dave Hinz
