I had one for its first 85k miles. Aside from the major services, I only had to resurface the front rotors, replace front pads at 65k, replaced the A/C relay (I believe) at ~30k. Belt and pulleys replaced at 70k. A/C system leak which was felt to be evaporator core ($1300 repair (!)) at 85k miles which was the impetus to trade up to a new 9-3 Arc. Otherwise, I was never stranded by what was a really fun and practical car, so I would recommend it if you have one which is clean by carfax and a reputable mechanic.
