I spent a whole, frustrating year with this thing, including several costly visits to dealers and mechanics. Problem was finally solved by a maintenance guy where I work, who found the problem in about 5 minutes. Turned out to be a $2.00 part in the distributor with a loose wire. Aaarrgghhh!! Sorry, I'm sure this is utterly useless to you. But be persistent. And don't buy the Ford, whatever you do!
