Whoa! You'r gettin off on a tangent . Look back a bit, I never said that any Saab manual recommends platinum plugs. What was written was: the new plugs I installed were the type recommended by the saab manual.....and yes in deed... they wus NKG BCPR6ES. Obviously the platinum plug in the photo was from the old batch I removed. Now I will run the NKGs for a few thousand and see if I still get the same deposit pattern.
