Here in Australia there are almost no locally-designed-and-manufactured cars beyond the three staples - Holden (aka GM) Commodore (and offshoots), Ford Falcon (and offshoots), Mitsubishi Magna. Beyond those, some of the small cars may get design input from here, but they're not made locally. Ford and Mazda have been colluding for years. Ford and GM are probably big-time arch-nemesises of each other in the US, but I don't think the same is true here in .au-land, or in Europe. Here the primary influences come from Japan, given the close proximity to Asia. Craig. -- Craig Ian Dewick (craignopsam.apana.org.au). http://nospam/~craig APANA Sydney Regional Co-ordinator.
