Where I live it's actually a chargeable offence to mess with it.. Come on man - treat every kilometer as a point of pride.. I made 310,000km and would still be driving today had I not wrecked her last night. Tore the front off and *still* drove it home. Also - messing with the odometer won't increase the value of the machine at the end of the day as anyone who will subsequently purchase it from you will do so on fit and finish given that the machine is *known* for extreme mileage. What separates the winners from the losers is how well it's maintenance records read and how well it *appears* to have been treated. -- J Dexter - webmaster - http://www.dexterdyne.org/ all tunes - no cookies no subscription no weather no ads no news no phone in - RealAudio 8+ Required - all the Time Radio Free Dexterdyne Top Tune o'be-do-da-day Mississippi John Hurt - Frankie http://www.dexterdyne.org/888/197.RAM
