Chicago and winters? Saab. Young family and safety? Saab. Bulletproof reliability? Toyota (altho Consumer Reports shows excellent reliability on the 00 9-5), Check Edmunds.com for an extended waranty, about 5 yrs 100000 miles. Exclusionary, lists parts they don't cover (generally maintenance stuff). Warranties that list what they will cover should be avoided like the plague. Like to drive? Great seating position? Saab Look at a car as an appliance, just want to get from a to b?
