I did have a new exhaust fitted last week Maybe that's blowing at the joint. I had to have the exhaust rehung earlier today as the rubber had broken. I'm sure this happened after the noise. Basically, when I set off from Bucks on xmas morning, the car didn't make the noise. When I got to Lancashire 220 miles up the road after a high-speed journey, it did make the noise, and has done ever since! Cheers Mike
