Subject: Couple of C900 Questions..

Hope you had a good xmas, and happy New Year to you all.. I have a couple of C900 related questions.. 1. How easy is it to change the Drivers side electric mirror assembly? Someone arsehole has smashed it to pieces - the entire thing, not just the glass. These are the sort of jos that look easy to me, then I make something worse. 2. Tappety noise when under load. This noise happened after a 2 hour high speed run (90+mph) It now "taps" a lot on starting from cold, and quietens down when warm. It only happens when the engine is under load and doesn't happen at tickover when warm. There's no apparent loss of performance - well, I put one of Matt's APC units on a couple of days ago and it works a treat.. It sounds like my Old orion used to , and similar to a knackered 2 litre Capri I once had an encounter with. The Capri had a knackered camshaft, and the Orion went quiet after an oil change. What's likely to be wrong with the Saab then? Camshaft? Tappet? Overcooked oil got thin? All help gratefully received, MXAHNY Mike
