This buzzing occurs anytime the engine is brought above 2150rpm, even sitting still and bringing the engine speed up. I can not hear the sound from within the engine bay with the hood up and my ear cocked that direction. It has done this since about ~35k miles. I have recently noticed that applying the brake stops the buzz, both while sitting still and while under way. It seems this may have something to do with vacuam. The buzzing sounds like some sort of motor that may be running. Anyone know if there is a vacuam/emmisions motor/pump/valve/whatever in the passenger firewall area? Car drives fine, the buzzing is irritating. Any other 9-3's buzzing around?
