Nicely got though, well done. Nasty. Glad you're okay. Spitting ciggies DC comics baddie-style at burly characters is the one thing I miss about giving up smoking. I always felt kind of safe going out clubbing and such when I smoked and it was my excuse for chain smoking at the time! I have a similar tale when I wasn't quick enough on the central locking at traffic lights in a salubrious part of Bradford and a whore got into car. She refused to leave "until I paid her up front for what she was about to do" ... which she didn't specify, but I didn't think it was anything to do with stimulating philosophical conversation. I told her I was going to drive to the nearest police station, which I proceeded to do at speed. She got out when I stopped for some more traffic lights. I usually keep the doors locked nowadays since I carry expensive gear in the boot ... and I've got a spark plug wrench under the seat, which is pretty much as good as a Maglite being 1 foot length of metal :) Paul 1989 900 Turbo S http://saab.go.dyndns.org/
