FYI: read a post on a BMW K bike, parts substitution page comparing the Delco filter to the Mobil 1- other than weight of the filter hull, the pf 53 and the corresponding Mobil 1 are identical, even down to the alpha-numeric stamping on the end. Query, though, re: 16v 9000 2.0 litre and the 9000 2.3 litre engines: the OEM for the 2.0 litre filter was Mann. Then when GM took over, the filter for all the 9000's was cheapened (IMO), to the smaller filter. For my 2.0 litre, I merely switched to buying Bosch filters for Volvo. Here's the question: has anyone successfully tried using the larger body filter on their 2.3 litre?
