Subject: 9000cse or C900 Turbo?

OK, I'm going to replace my classic 900, (1986, 8v Carb, 3 door) I am in the lucky position of having 5 yrs no claims and being over 35, my premiums are low. I really fancy a comfortable family car than can go like s&*t off a chrome shovel when I don't have my kids on board. I am considering the above two vehicles. I have £2000-3000 to spend. Lucky me! I have zero interest in towing, I hate all things caravan. Any opinions? My feelings are:- 9000CSE has powerful, but relatively economic turbocharged engine, climate control, heated seats, full leather and is built like a tank. Classic 900 Turbo 16s, is quicker, could well have air conditioning, maybe leather and is after a beautiful 900 classic shape. Whatever I buy needs to last at least 3 years without major (>£1000) maintenance. I am not especially car savvy, so most work would be done by my local Saab specialist - Aeromotive SAAB. I am leaning towards the 9000, but my heart has always been for 900's. Your opinions would be appreciated, although I know this could be a real can of worms. Cheers Al
