Can someone > confirm or deny this. Thanks. My '99 9-5 has been in exactly twice, at 30,000 and at 60,000 miles. Nothing other than normal wear items (tires, belts) have needed attention. Perhaps what you heard about was timing belts on the V-6 engine? The 4-cylinder engines have more horsepower, more torque, and use timing chains, so it's not a concern on those. Dave Hinz
