Yup, been asked that a few times. Only seasoned ebayers understand this as ebay don't explain it to buyers very well. Strange really as everything else about ebay seems really clued up. Basically when you list an auction item with a buy it now option, a buyer can click on the buy it now tab and buy it without having to wait to see if their bid is high enough. Unfortunately, as soon as someone bids on the item, as has happened with my lovely Saab, the buy it now option is removed by ebay. This means that in this particular case my car is now up for auction with no reserve. ( I neglected to put one on, DOH!) If no one else bids the current bidder will get my vehicle for £150. BARGAIN! I am only selling this car because it's a real pain in the backside getting my four year old in and out of his seat in the back with only three doors. I'd love to keep her as a hobby car but I don't have the space and my wife has the money spent already.... I would much prefer to see her go to a Saab enthusiast, preferably not as a mobile spares shop though! I do admit to being a tad excited about picking up my super quick 9000.......
