My 1985 Saab 900T was passed down to my grandson but his great aunt has recently offered him a car that a sixteen year old finds more interesting. We are forced to part with the faithful 900. It is a rare gray four door five speed turbo that runs exceptionally well even with 280,000 miles on the odometer. My son is a certified aircraft mechanic and has replaced about every moving part in the suspension over the years. The engine and turbo have never been touched except for replacement of the distributor and high voltage wires. The cluch was replaced around 190,000 miles and is still smooth. The injectors are a little noisy but they work and there are no other unusual sounds from under the hood. The oil has been faithfully changed every 5000 miles or less. No added oil is required between changes and the exhaust is clean. The dash top cover and instrument plate were replaced a couple of years ago when they were banged up by a deer that came through the windshield. Everything works including the air conditioning, power sun roof, power windows, and power locks. The car is as responsive as ever. The car has spent most of its life garaged and the mileage is mainly from long commutes. The only rust is a little around the right rear and left front wheel wells. It has alloy wheels and a receiver trailer hitch (used for bike rack and small boat). It has a current state inspection. My son is asking $950.
