Try checking the glove box light with the headlight switch in each position. The current source is different with each setting of that switch. The Green wire should be hot at all times (+12v) referenced to a good ground. The black wire is switched to ground and should measure a low resistance to ground when the glove box is open (switch released). I have schematics but they are not easy to send. -Fred W
