Spoke to my local saab dealer today, and it is pre wired. The kit will cost unde £50, a bargain. I found the car at a saab dealership through the autotrader website in the UK, altough diesels are a bit more expensive and harder to find. Plus I got a 6 month guarantee (as its 1999 its slightly too old for the aproved used saab deal). Ive never had a saab or a GM car before so cant compare them, but compared to my old toyota carina, it has less acceleration but feels more powerfull. There is a turbolag, but when it kicks in..... Mine is 115bhp but the newer ones are 125 and i think that will make some difference. The big plus is around town I am doing 35mpg and on the motorway, nearly 60mpg. Have had no problems yet and it feels solid, but ive only had it nearly 3 weeks, and i am still smilling.
