According to what I read, Opel will stop manufacturing the 2.2, so they have no choice. It is going to be replaced by the 1.9 JTD engines from Alfa Romeo. That should be a big improvement, as they are much more refined (and in the 150hp version also more powerful). Has anybody driven a 9-3SS TiD? How does it compare to the previous model 9-3 TiD (92 kW)? This model has the same engine, which I think is quite noisy for todays standards. Mark
