Abbott is fairly stiff IME in the NG900/9~3. If he wants a reasonable improvement in handling w/o being too stiff, I'd go with the Eibach (progressive) springs and Koni adjustable shocks. The Koni's are great. Drops the car about an inch. Last I checked the springs were $300 and the shocks $550 plus labor. The steering rack brace is also highly recommended by those who install it. I have not gotten to mine yet. Available from Abbott http://www.abbottracing.com/ and Taliaferro http://www.genuinesaab.com/. The guys at Taliaferro are really into these mods and are US based.
