Whatever caused the DI Box to go, it shouldn't have "gone" in the first place. It shouldn't cost the better part of a thousand dollars to get it repaired. The Goddam thing is nothing but a COIL, for Christs' sake. Whatever your opinion is; you didn't provide any details. You also ignored the GM directive, that nobody at a dealership in the US should tell a GM owner anything about what they found wrong with the car connected with these Engine Codes. You just about have to get a Court Order to get information from a Saab mechanic employed at a dealership here. The build quality for my Saab couldn't have been worse, and THAT is certainly Saab's responsibility. I don't want to complain any more than I already have; but I am very, VERY unhappy with this experience. Your reply is simply inappropriate, and I'm being kind. Saab has work to do. Whoever you are, denying it or avoiding it, will kill the brand. *** I respected Saab enough three years ago, that I went out of my way to buy a Saab in the United States. Most people here have to do that, because the dealer network is -- well, not very well organized, to put it mildly. I would like to see Saabs easier to buy, more reliable, priced a bit lower, and more compeditively engineered than my experience with this 9-3 has been so far. I now believe that the Saab brand will die if they don't clean up their act and quickly. My Saab is not a good car. any
