Same thing has happened a couple times in my 2004 Aero. Two or three times, it turned on when I started the car but it was tuned to a different station from I when I lasted used the radio and no sound was coming out. Adjusting the volume or changing the station didn't do anything. Turning the radio off and on again fixed the problem every time. Once, it turned off by itself while the car was on. One time, I couldn't lock the car and then the next day I couldn't unlock the car. Both times, the problem went away after I put the remote into the ignition. I called the dealer about these things, but they said they hadn't heard of similar problems. I couldn't reproduce the problems, so I didn't bother taking it in.
